Personal Privacy in Your Digital Life

July 16th, 2015

In keeping with our professional responsibility to ensure the privacy of library patron records, librarians also advocate for understanding and managing one’s digital identity and personal privacy while online and engaging with its myriad applications. Colleague Jim J with MERIT Library has created a library research guide to “Personal Privacy and Digital Life“.

Library Research Guides are portals to selected resources–library-licensed and open Web–serving particular topics or disciplines. The “Privacy” guide links to resources for understanding historical and contemporary concerns, legal interpretations, and tools for managing one’s personal and professional online presence.
