In Class with Go Big Read

June 25th, 2015

Read, reflect and discuss issues of inequality in the United States with the next Go Big Read.

The Go Big Read program invites instructors who intend to use the 2015-2016 selection with their classes during the fall and spring semesters to complete a request form for complimentary copies.

Chancellor Rebecca Blank and a review committee of campus faculty, staff and students have selected Just Mercy by advocate for justice and lawyer, Bryan Stevenson, as the 2015-2016 common book selection for the UW-Madison campus.

For more information, visit the publisher’s site for the book. Find inspiration in the author’s TED Talk, “We Need to Talk about an Injustice”.

A public presentation with Bryan Stevenson, will be scheduled for October, 2015.  Visit the Go Big Read site for details about the event.

Go Big Read is UW-Madison’s common book program where students, staff and the community are invited to read the same book then participate in a variety of related programs in-and-out of the classroom.

Go Big Read welcomes your participation with this new title during the forthcoming academic year.
