Summer Reading

June 4th, 2015

Does the summer afford you the opportunity to read recreationally?  If so, you may wish to participate in a summer reading club. And, when was the last time you could say you did that?!

If you’re in Madison this summer, stop in to one of our Madison Public Library branches to register for its Summer Reading Club for adults and teens, or, you can also register and participate online.  Do note, though, that the online and branch participation are treated as separate programs and you can even log your books at both locations.

As added incentive, weekly prize drawings begin the week of June 15.  You can also browse to see what other participants have been reading and enjoying–all the better to discover something new to add to your reading list.

In addition to the copies, you can check-out from our public libraries, do consult our campus library catalog, if more convenient, to find available copies of a desired read.

Steenbock Library also hosts its own “Little Free Library” (Charter #4206) as a fun opportunity to exchange popular reading materials.  Take a book; return a book, today!
