In early 2015, UW-Madison and UW System Libraries will transition to a new services platform. As the Libraries implement this change, there are three services which will be affected immediately and to which we request your attention, noting date and duration of interruption or change to the service. Please do contact us should you have questions or concerns.
Placing Materials on Course Reserve
As the processing of course reserves will be affected by this transition, we request that all materials intended for course reserves be submitted as soon as possible. Questions regarding reserves services at Steenbock Library can be directed to librarian, Kathryn Maloney.
Placing Requests for Materials using the Online Catalog
Beginning January 8, the “Place Request” button in the Libraries’ online catalog will be disabled until February 9. Plan now to request these materials before January 8 or use Interlibrary Loan services to request these materials during the transition phase.
Using your Interlibrary Loan Account
Beginning, January 21, you will need to log in to your “Interlibrary Loan Account” to view the list of materials charged out to you through that system; items received through Interlibrary Loan will no longer be listed in your “Library Account”.
