NLW with Dogs on Call, April 16

April 9th, 2013

In celebration of National Library Week (April 14-20) and its call to community-building, Steenbock Library will again welcome the delightful community of canines from Dogs on Call to wag their way through our front entrance, and to raise the “woof” so-to-speak with our library users, on Tuesday, April 16 (6:30-8:00 PM).

Dogs on Call” is a local member of Pet Partners–an organization devoted to improving human health through the existing bond between people and companion animals. These companion animals are specially-trained to gently-interact with their human counterparts in any number of environments including schools, hospitals, libraries and special-care facilities.
The dogs will be available for a pat near the front, main entrance to the library (second floor).
Please visit the sites for Dogs on Call and Pet Partners to learn more about their services.
