Binding Unit

Welcome to the Binding Unit

The Memorial Library Binding Unit provides binding preparation services to all of Memorial Library, 13 General Library System Member libraries, and College Library Reserves.

Services provided include preparation for commercial library binding and rebinding of serials and books, and custom-made protective containers for fragile materials.

These materials are sent to commercial binders under contract to the University of Wisconsin — Madison. In addition, pamphlet binding is done in-house.

The Binding Unit does not provide binding services to individuals, departments or libraries which are not affiliated with the General Library System.
