Looking for a good book to share with dear old dad this Father’s Day?  The UW-Madison Libraries’ Father’s Day Reads board on Pinterest has lots of good ideas:

  • Picture books that celebrate fathers through the eyes of young children, like Daddies Do It Different.
  • Grown-up memoirs that explore the challenges and triumphs of fatherhood, like The Pursuit of Happyness.
  • And yes, the popular picture books, Vader and Son and Vader’s Little Princess, by Jeffrey Brown are there too!  (Just imagine what  Luke and Leia’s childhood might have been like if Darth Vader had avoided the Dark Side and taken an active role in child-rearing!)

From the main pinboard, you can click on a title to learn more about each one and find out if any libraries on campus own a copies. There’s something for every kind of dad!
