Virtual Learning Rooms

Virtual Learning Rooms are intended for students who want to reserve an on-campus space with reliable, high-speed internet access in order to participate in, and complete coursework for, remote courses. The Libraries have 3 spaces setup for this program, each with 10 reservable seats.

Reservation Required

The ability for individuals to reserve seats in these rooms is not yet available. To request an appointment, visit this page for information on Special-Request Rooms for Priority Virtual Learning Needs.

What’s Provided

  • On-campus space arranged in a physically distanced format
  • Windows workstation with webcam (or use your own device)
  • WiFi
  • Power outlets
  • Cleaning supplies to sanitize dedicated workspace

What Students Need to Bring

  • Personal device(s), such as a laptop, and other necessary equipment (e.g., charging cords, headsets, etc.) and materials to complete their coursework
  • Face coverings

Room Set-up

All rooms are set up in a physically distanced format. Students are prohibited from moving furniture.

Additional Guidelines

  • Wear a face covering at all times
  • Maintain physical distancing
  • Sanitize work space before and after using
  • Do not move furniture
  • Wear headphones/earbuds/headsets for all technology/audio use
  • Do not eat or drink while in the room
