Use this tool to get instructions on how to connect to Library
printers over the wireless network on your Mac laptop.
You must be logged into the campus wireless in order to
connect to and use these campus printers.
Step 1
Click on the Apple menu and select System Preferences.
Step 2
Click on the Printers and Scanners button located in the Hardware section.
Printers and Scanners may be Print and Fax in older operating systems.
Step 3
Click on the Plus Sign located under the list of printers to add a new printer:
Note that you may need to click the lock in the lower left and enter your admin password to unlock the add printer button.
Step 4
Select the
IP tab and configure the printer as follows:
- Protocol: Line Printer Daemon - LPD
- Address: goprint.doit.wisc.edu
- Queue: ART_B&W
- Name/Location: Art Printer
- Print Using: Generic Postscript Printer

Add. The printer should begin installing.
Your computer is now configured to print. If you did not set the printer as the default,
make sure that you choose this printer when you print from an application.
