Request an Image

Images can be made from an item in Special Collections only if the condition of the item permits. The Department may be able to make a limited number of digital images from items in its collections.

In general, such images will be .jpg files at 300 dpi, delivered as e-mail attachments.

Please be aware that provision of an image file may not automatically convey permission to publish or otherwise reproduce the image either in print or in electronic form, including a Web page. In any event, the Libraries do request that proper attribution be given in each instance of use. See Request to Quote or Publish.
