At this time, due to low inventory, renewal or extension requests are approved on a case-by-case basis and should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org with the equipment barcode and reason for the renewal/extension request.
Libraries are circulating laptops and AV equipment to be used in support of research, learning, and instruction.
Equipment is available for two-week check out on a walk-up basis, although you may want to call or check online first to ensure that inventory is available.
Equipment checked out will have a two-week loan period. Renewals are possible if inventory allows. Laptop loans longer than two weeks are available from the DoIT Help Desk at email@example.com.

When returning equipment, please return it to the location you checked it out from. Please do not return equipment via the book returns.

Yes, you will have full rights to make changes to the laptops, including installing software.
Your personal information is removed from the laptop. All laptop hard drives are completely wiped and reimaged before being returned to the loaner pool.
All equipment is quarantined for at least 7 days when they are returned.
