The space has glass paneled rooms fitted with video cameras to ensure compliance with exam instructions. There is a pool of approximately 30 students who serve as proctors and the facility can handle 12-25 exams per day. UW-Madison students receive priority when scheduling exams.
Cost: $20 per hour for proctoring services.*
* Fee is waived for students registered with the McBurney Center, if another institution pays for the exam to be proctored, or if it is a placement test

Proctoring occurs primarily at the Central Library, other branches may make their own arrangements. The test-taker is placed in a study room within view of the reference desk so that librarians may monitor the exam. Students make all of the arrangements for exams to be emailed to staff at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
