Work at the Art Library this Fall!
The Kohler Art Library is hiring! We’re searching for two graduate students for part-time evening and weekend supervisory positions and two undergraduate students for daytime shifts. Positions are approximately 10-12 hours per week. Supervisor positions are: Mon, Tue, Wed, or Thurs, from 4:00 – 8:00 pm; Sat or Sun, from 1:00 pm -5:00 pm. Each position will consist of two weekdays and one weekend shift as schedules allow. Undergraduate daytime shifts will vary according to library hours.
This is a unique opportunity for students interested in the arts, information services, or art librarianship. Assist with circulation activities, help library users, and work on special projects that align with your talents, from web design and social media to file organizing. No experience necessary–training provided!
The Kohler Art Librarysupports the visual research needs of artists, historians, and designers at UW-Madison with collections that cover painting, drawing, architecture, sculpture, graphic arts, photography, decorative arts, fashion and textiles, and interior design. It houses one of the largest public artists’ book collections in the country.
