All records sent to the University Archives must be packed in Record Storage Cartons, which are the only boxes approved for use at the University Archives. A standard Record Storage Carton holds approximately one linear foot of records and will accommodate both letter and legal files.
Boxes can be ordered through MDS Core Stock on Workday. In order for Workday to display MDS Core Stock item availability, these initial setup steps must be followed. After following these steps, make sure the following fields are filled out: Requesting for, Requesting Entity, Company, Currency, Requisition Type, Deliver-To, Ship-To, Cost Center, Fund, Function, and Additional Worktags. For Additional Worktags, at least one worktag must be added in order to use the search bar.
After following the steps, you can search the number 00000393 in the search bar and add Record Storage Cartons (3191-BUNDLE : Dairyland Packaging USA LLC) to your cart. A quantity of 1 equals a bundle of 10 Record Storage Cartons.
