Welcome to UW-Madison General Library System! The UW-Madison General Library System ranks as the 11th largest research collection in North America. Campus libraries include Memorial Library, the principal research library for humanities and social sciences; the undergraduate research facility, College Library, and more than 40 special purpose libraries.
The campus library collections include:

- 55,000 serial titles
- 6.2 million microforms
- 160 linear feet of manuscript collections
- over 7 million items in other formats, including government documents, maps, musical scores, audiovisual materials, and more
