Educational Innovation

The Libraries are developing services and resources to support the campus Educational Innovation (EI) efforts. This is a rapidly evolving issue that requires continual assessment of both opportunities and challenges. The Libraries are highly engaged in exploring the best ways to support and contribute to this campus priority.

Consultations

Librarians provide consultations to help you think about assignments and activities that engage your students in research and develop their information literacy skills. These activities are fundamental to education at a research institution, and there are a variety of creative strategies to support and engage students in all levels and disciplines.

Course Content Support

Access to and use of licensed library resources and copyrighted materials is different within the Educational Innovation environment, and the Library will work with you to answer your questions and find solutions. The Libraries have deep experience in issues related to course-related access to copyrighted material online, electronic books and textbooks, and options for the use of Open Educational Resources.
