Moving Citations from Bibliography of Asian Studies into RefWorks

In Bibliography of Asian Studies

  1. Click add to bookbag below desired records.
  2. Click on bookbag in top toolbar to view Bookbag Holdings.
  3. Click on Download Contents. [Note: Download Records does not work.] .
  4. Click in circle next to Save to Disk.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Identify your disk drive and filename plus the extension .txt (plain text) in the File Name Box. Example: a: myfile.txt
  7. Click on Save.

In RefWorks

  1. Login to your RefWorks database if you have not already done so.
  2. Click on References and Import at the top of the screen.
  3. Select Bibliography of Asian Studies - BAS from the Import Filter/Data Source drop-down menu.
  4. Click in circle next to Import Data from the following Text File.
  5. Click on the Browse button to select the file name of your saved records.
  6. Click on Import.
  7. Your citation(s) will automatically be imported into the Last Imported Folder.

    You may now view your records and move them to the folder of your choice.
