Moving Citations from ACS (American Chemical Society) Journals into RefWorks

In an ACS Journal

  1. Locate the desired citation in an ACS journal.
  2. Click in the box next to Select Citation.
  3. Click on Download to Selected Citations (at the top of the page).
  4. Select desired preference at Choose the type of download.
  5. Select RefWorks from the Choose a citation manager format drop down menu.
  6. Click on Download.
  7. Click on Export to RefWorks.

In RefWorks

  1. Login to your RefWorks database if you have not already done so.

Your citation(s) will automatically be imported into the Last Imported Folder.

You may view the records or move them to the folder of your choice.
