About Library Publishing
The University of Wisconsin-Madison Libraries publishes both print and digital works in support of the research and teaching missions of the university. The publishing units seek to follow the tenet of the Wisconsin Idea, which holds that the boundaries of the university should be the boundaries of the state and beyond. All of the library departments or units listed on this website are engaged in publishing work.
