Wisconsin State Fairgoers connect with UW-Madison Libraries
Posted 8/17/2012
MADISON, WI – Staff of the UW-Madison libraries had a blast handing out Frisbees and connecting with alumni, university students, faculty, and staff, and friends from all over the Midwest at the Wisconsin State Fair's UW-Madison Day on August 8.
Library staff joined other university departments for a day of fun and outreach, promoting university resources and services to fairgoers. Ray Hamel of the Primate Center Library created a “Wisconsin State Fair” and “Down on the Farm” crossword puzzle; again many fairgoers collaborated to complete the puzzles—and grabbed some paper copies to work on later!
