Nothing to Hide Bequeathal Reception

MADISON, Wis. – A reception will be held on Friday, November 13, 4:30-6:00 p.m., to honor the transfer of ownership of a collection of 800 master video tapes of the program "Nothing to Hide," from WYOU Community Television to Memorial Library. This collection is named for David Runyon, creator of the cable television show in Madison called "Glad to Be Gay," and local gay activist. This will become the largest LGBT community access video archive of its kind in a public repository.

Speakers include: Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin; Representative Spencer Black; Steve Starkey, Director of LGBT Outreach Center; Richard Russell, political activist; and Ken Frazier, Director of the General Library System.

This event is free and open to the public and will be held in Memorial Library Commons room 460.
