O’Leary, Queyras to read at FELIX event
Posted 11/17/2006
MADISON, Wis. – The second of two “FELIX: A Series of New Writing” events this fall features poets Peter O’Leary and Sina Queyras. O’Leary is a longtime editor of LVNG. Queyras has three published collections of poetry and teaches creative writing at Rutgers University.
The poetry readings, sponsored by the Friends of the UW–Madison Library, will take place in 126 Memorial Library at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30.
Named after Felix Pollak (1909–1987), poet and former curator of Special Collections, the series invites writers to provide a forum for conversation on the evolution of “little magazines” and their role in literary culture.
