The Office of Scholarly Communication and Publishing (OSCP) seeks to improve access to scholarly communications for the common good, championing sustainable, open access models, and digitally publishing scholarly research and works in collaboration with academic communities of the university and beyond.

Parallel Press
The Parallel Press, an imprint of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Libraries, publishes
work by researchers and poets. The publications are collaborations--both with those in the university as well as with scholars across the state--and represent an ongoing commitment by the libraries to scholarly communication as a contribution to the
Wisconsin Idea.

Silver Buckle Press
The Silver Buckle Press is a working museum
of letterpress printing dedicated to preserving
the craft of fine printing through limited-edition
publications, lectures, demonstrations,
and tours. The Silver Buckle Press is part
of the General Library System, University of Wisconsin-Madison, and is
housed in room
236 Memorial Library.

University of Wisconsin Women's Studies Library
The Office of the University of Wisconsin System Women's Studies Librarian
was created in 1977 to serve students, faculty, librarians, and administrators
across the UW System. Located on the Madison campus, the office reaches
out to all UW campuses through its many regular
and special publications, reference assistance, and professional presentations
and consultation.
