Bob hacker's retirement party in photos

After the Memorial Day weekend, library staff came back to work to have a celebration of their own. Many staffers gathered in the Memorial Library lounge to honor Security Officer Bob Hacker, who has chosen to retire in order to undergo knee surgery and travel to Alaska. In addition to an elaborate table of food and a gift certificate from the library staff, Hacker also received Certificates of Appreciation from General Library System Director Ken Frazier, University of Wisconsin-Madison Chancellor John Wiley, and Gov. Jim Doyle. Hacker served the UW-Madison Libraries for 31 years.
