The Libraries’ 75-years Overdue Book on WMTV Channel 15

Last week, we shared the story behind very overdue library book, which made its way back to UW-Madison Libraries seventy-five years after it had been checked out.  Soon after the story was published, representatives from local NBC news affiliate WMTV 15 got in touch to film a short piece on the extraordinary story of two UW-Madison students in the 1930s and the book that they forgot to return.

The human story behind the return is a treat: Read the original story, “And You Thought Your Book Was Overdue!”
