Loan Periods for Annual Fee Card Holders
This category includes employees of Wisconsin corporations and state residents not included in other categories. State residents must be able to prove residency by providing two forms of identification with address information. One form must have a current photo. A $40.00 annual fee is required for a library card (residents over 62 pay $20.00).

Exceptions for individual libraries' circulation policies:
* Art, Geology, Geography, Historical, Journalism, Math and Water Resources Libraries: Unbound journal issues do not circulate.
** Memorial Library: For journals with call numbers beginning with AP: Journals at least 10 years old circulate for 7 days with no renewals. Newer journals do not circulate.
*** Ebling Library: Books published before 1914 do not circulate.
§ Music Library: Non-print materials are for in-house use only. They do not circulate.
§§ Primate Center Library: Computer books in the stacks circulate for 14 days and have two renewals.
¤ Wisconsin's Water Library: Current journal issues do not circulate.
¤ ¤ UW System Libraries: Annual fee cardholders cannot borrow materials from UW System Libraries using their UW-Madison issued card. If you need to borrow a book or get an article from a UW System library, these requests must be placed through your local public library.
