Library Course Pages

Ask a Librarian

Overview

Library Course Pages (LCPs) are customized web pages for a course and make it easy to find the right library resources - fast!

You'll find things like:

  • Your course reserves - both e-reserves and print more about...
  • Quick links to services like article delivery and RefWorks
  • Quick links to the best search engines for your class assignments
  • Tips on getting started and getting unstuck!

Access via MyUW

Students can access LCPs under the Academics tab in MyUW (http://my.wisc.edu). Your Course Resources module lists all the courses in which you're currently enrolled. Not all courses have an LCP, but if there is one, you'll see a link labeled Library/Reserves. There is a screenshot below.

Access via Learn@UW

For Spring 2007

Students can access LCPs from Learn@UW (https://learnuw.wisc.edu) from a widget labeled Course Resources on the class home page. The Library/Reserves link takes students to the Library Course Page for the class. If no custom Library Course Page exists for that course, then the link directs visitors to a default library page.

Some courses may also have a Library/Reserves link in the class navbar.
