Plant Description:
Marsh St. Johnswort is a perennial plant growing from 6-18 inches in height.
The plant has oblong leaves occurring in an opposite arrangement on the stem.
It reproduces by seed and by underground rootstocks. Plants flower in July-September.
Flowers are pink in color.
Remarks:
Marsh St. Johnswort is a common invader of cranberry marshes in Wisconsin. It
can be found throughout an entire bed but usually first appears along bed edges.
It may difficult to control once established.
