Plant Description:
Marsh Fern is a perennial plant reproducing primarily from underground rootstocks.
Fronds are pinnately compound in appearance and green to yellowish in color.
The plant reaches a height of 1-2 feet.
Remarks:
Marsh Fern is common to wetland areas and cranberry marshes throughout Wisconsin.
It is often found along ditch edges and dikes. It does spread throughout a bed
once established. It may become a problem weed if preventive measures are not
taken.
