Plant Description:
Boneset is a perennial plant reaching from 1-3 feet in height. Leaves are located
in an opposite arrangement on the stem and are long and lanceolate. Leaves are
wrinkled in appearance and have hairy bottoms. White flowers are present during
the months of July-September.
Remarks:
Boneset is common to wetland areas adjacent to cranberry marshes. On cranberry
beds it often occurs along bed edges and drainage ditches. It is not a serious
weed pest.
