Plant Description:

Remarks:
Bedstraws are found commonly in moist woodlands and wetlands throughout the state. They may occasionally grow along bed edges and center ditches on cranberry marshes. Plants often become entangled in the cranberry vines. Rough bedstraw has hairy or prickly stems and may cling to clothing. Fragrant bedstraw will emit a sweet odor when dried.
