Introduction to the European Union This brief guide is intended to help researchers at the University of Wisconsin–Madison:
Libraries Memorial Library has been a depository library for documents and publications of the European Community/European Union since 1964. This means that the Library receives one copy of most EU publications and documents in the English language free of charge. The Library has an extensive collection of books and journals about Western Europe and the EU. Most EU publications are shelved in the library stacks, and can be found using MadCat, the UW-Madison online catalog. The Law Library also collects EU documents and publications approriate to its areas of responsibility. Campus centers The European Studies Alliance at the UW–Madison coordinates centers on campus concerned with European affairs. Their home pages may have useful information: |
