Dance Resources in UW-Madison Libraries
About Dance Collections on the UW-Madison Campus
Library materials for dance may be found in a variety of locations on campus:
- Memorial Library houses research materials, including books and journals, on dance
- Mills Music Library houses materials concerning dance music
- College Library (Helen C. White) contains a selection of dance books and journals, as well as materials on reserve for dance courses
- The Center for Instructional Materials and Computing has materials for dance education (books, films, video) as well as reserve materials for dance courses
- The Microforms/Media Center, 443 Memorial Library, has a large collection of video recordings
- The Letters
and Science Learning Support Services, 279 Van Hise Hall, also contains videos
- Archives of historic collections of interest to dance researchers can be found in the Wisconsin
Historical Society Archives and the UW-Madison
