Importing SciFinder Scholar Records into EndNote

  1. Conduct your search in SciFinder Scholar.
  2. Click in the box next to the desired records.
  3. Click SAVE AS.
  4. Select TAGGED FORMAT from the SAVE AS TYPE: pull-down menu.
  5. Type your disk drive and filename plus extension .txt in the FILE NAME box.
    Example: a:myfile.txt
  6. Click OK.

In SciFinder Scholar

  1. Open EndNote AND open an EndNote library.
  2. Click FILE and IMPORT.
  3. Click CHOOSE FILE and choose your downloaded SciFinder Scholar file.
  4. Click OPEN
  5. At the Import Option box select Other Filters.
  6. Select the SciFinder(CAS) filter.
  7. Click CHOOSE.
  8. Click IMPORT
