Importing SciFinder Scholar Records into EndNote

  1. Conduct your search in SciFinder Scholar.
  2. Save your records.
    • Click on Save button.
    • Select Tagged format from the Save as type: pull-down menu.
    • Type your disk drive and filename plus extension .txt in the File Name box.
      Example: a:myfile.txt
    • Click on OK.

In SciFinder Scholar

  1. Open EndNote.
  2. Open an EndNote library.
  3. Click on File and Import.
  4. Click on Choose File to choose your downloaded SciFinder Scholar file.
  5. Click on Open
  6. At the Import Option box select Other Filters.
  7. > Select the SciFinder(CAS) filter.
  8. Click on Choose.
  9. CLick on Import
