Importing Google Scholar Records into EndNote

  1. Go to Google Scholar at http://scholar.google.com.
  2. Click on Scholar Preferences.
  3. Scroll to the Bibliography Manager section.
  4. Click in the radio button next to Show links to import into .
  5. Select EndNote from the drop down menu.
  6. Click on Save Preferences.
  7. Open your EndNote database.
  8. Conduct your search in Google Scholar.
  9. Click on Import to EndNote link associated with your desired record.
  10. Click on Open at the prompt window.
  11. Browse to the desired EndNote library and click on Open.
    Your Google Scholar record should be imported into your EndNote Library.

  12. Note: If your record is imported into the Ancient Text Reference Type you need the revised Generic Endnote Import filter. This is available for download at http://www.endnote.com/support/enfilters.asp. Click on FTP and save it to your EndNote Filters folder.
