Importing Engineering Village 2 Records into EndNote

  1. Click in the box to the left of desired records.
  2. Choose desired format fromChoose Format:.
  3. Click onDownload at the top of the screen .
  4. Click in the radio button to the left of RIS, EndNote,.....
  5. Click onDownload.
  6. Click onSave.
    Save records as a text file, with the filename plus the extension .txt in the File Name Box.
    Example: myfile.txt
  7. Click onSave.
    If emailing records, you must then save them with a file name from your email program before importing them into EndNote.

Importing Your Saved Engineering Village Records into EndNote

  1. Open your EndNote database.
  2. At the menu bar selectFile andImport.
  3. Click onChoose File and select your Engineering Village text file.
    Click onOpen.
    SelectRefman RISfrom theImport Option: pull-down menu
    If filter is not found in pull-down menu, click onOther Filters.
  4. Click onImport.
