Importing ACS Records into EndNote

  1. Locate the desired citation in an ACS journal.
  2. Click in the box next ot Select Citation.
  3. Click on Download Selected Citations.
  4. Click on desired format at Chose the type of download.
  5. Select EndNote from the Choose a citation manager format: drop-down menu.
  6. Click on Download.
  7. Save file.

Importing Your Saved Records into EndNote

  1. Open your EndNote database.
  2. At the menu bar select File and Import.
  3. Click on Choose File and select your saved file.
    Click on Open.
    Select Refer/BibIX from the Import Option: pull-down menu
    If filter is not found in pull-down menu, click on Other Filters.
  4. Click on Import.
