How Do You Use It?
To place a request, get an article PDF, or check the status of your orders:
- Log in to Library Express
- Enter your 11-digit ID number (more info)
- Enter your last name using all lower-case letters
After you have logged in, the Library Express main menu will offer you options for requesting material, tracking requests, and information about your account.
Your request will be routed to one of six campus libraries, based on your employing department or academic major. Books will be delivered to the campus library that you specify in Library Express for pick-up. Articles are scanned to create a PDF file, and placed on the Web for retrieval. You will receive an email when your book or article is available.
Use Distance Services if you live outside of Dane County and do not regularly commute to campus.
