Si ku quan shu (Wenyuange Edition/Electronic version)

Si ku quan shu requires a login and password and is limited to five simultaneous users. The Login ID and Password provided below are licensed for current students, faculty and staff of the University of Wisconsin-Madison ONLY. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

Please note: This resource is only available from campus computers. Off-campus access is not available at this time.

Technical notes

1. Please log out of the resource when you are finished. This resource is limited to five simultaneous connections. If you simply close your browser window instead of logging off, you will tie up a connection for 60 minutes. Please be considerate of other patrons and exit using the link at the upper-right corner of the screen.

2. Notes about web browsers: this resource only works with Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or newer for Microsoft Windows. If you have any pop-up blocking installed, you must disable it for Si ku quan shu's domain (http://skqs.library.wisc.edu). Windows XP users who have installed Service Pack 2 will need to turn off Internet Explorer's built-in pop-up blocking. For information about how to turn off pop-up blocking, please refer to the help file of your pop-up blocker.

The Library Technology Group has tested the following web browsers and found them to be incompatible with Si ku quan shu: Firefox (Windows, OS X); Mozilla (Windows, OS X); Netscape 7.2 (Windows, OS X); Netscape 4.79 (Windows, OS X); Safari (OS X); Internet Explorer 5.x (OS X)

3. Server maintenance: The Si ku quan shu server will be unavailable every day from 6:00 AM until 6:10 AM, and from 6:00 PM until 6:10 PM. Connecting to the server will not be possible during these times. If you are logged in at 6:00, the server will drop your connection. Please wait until 6:10 before trying to log in again.
