Moving Citations from China Academic Journals Databases into RefWorks
In China Academic Journals
- Click in the box to the left of each record to be exported.
- Click Save.
- Choose Output format.
- Click RefWorks.
- Save text file to computer (for example, the Desktop).
In RefWorks
- Login to your RefWorks database if you have not already done so.
- Click References then click Import at the top of the screen.
- Choose RefWorks Tagged Format from IImport Filter/Data Source drop-down menu.
- Choose Tagged Format from Database drop-down menu.
- Choose File.
- Choose UTF-8 as Encoding drop-down menu.
- Specify folder (optional).
- Click Import.
- Your citation(s) will automatically be imported into the Last Imported Folder.
You may now view your records and move them to the folder of your choice.
