Moving Citations from China Academic Journals Databases into RefWorks

In China Academic Journals

  1. Click in the box to the left of each record to be exported.
  2. Click Save.
  3. Choose Output format.
  4. Click RefWorks.
  5. Save text file to computer (for example, the Desktop).

In RefWorks

  1. Login to your RefWorks database if you have not already done so.
  2. Click References then click Import at the top of the screen.
  3. Choose RefWorks Tagged Format from IImport Filter/Data Source drop-down menu.
  4. Choose Tagged Format from Database drop-down menu.
  5. Choose File.
  6. Choose UTF-8 as Encoding drop-down menu.
  7. Specify folder (optional).
  8. Click Import.
  9. Your citation(s) will automatically be imported into the Last Imported Folder.

    You may now view your records and move them to the folder of your choice.
