What is it?
RefWorks is a web-based application accessed from the UW Library website that will help you…
- Gather references automatically from article databases while you research
- Format manuscripts and citations instantly in a variety of styles (MLA, APA, Turabian, etc.)
- Create and organize a personal research database online
- Access your information online from any computer, anywhere, any time
- Share your databases with colleagues around the world
- Transfer references among RefWorks, EndNote Web, EndNote, and Zotero.
RefWorks 2.0 beta is available within your Refworks account. Click the RefWorks 2.0 link in the upper right corner to toggle between RefWorks "Classic" and RefWorks 2.0. Your data is safe no matter which interface you use. Some modules will have the "classic" look for a while: RefShare, Write-N-Cite, RefGrabIt. Contact UW-Madison's askrefworks for help or read about it.
Any UW-Madison student, faculty or staff can use RefWorks. It is provided for your use by the UW-Madison Libraries.
