Importing Science Direct Records into EndNote
- Click in the box to the left of desired records.
- Click EXPORT CITATIONS at the top of the screen.
- Select RIS FORMAT... from the FILE FORMAT: drop-down menu.
- Click EXPORT.
- Click SAVE from the FILE DOWNLOAD pop-up window.
- Change the SAVE AS TYPE choice to TEXT FILE (*.txt).
- Name your file and click SAVE.
In EndNote
- Select the Library into which you want to import the citations.
- Choose IMPORTfrom the FILE drop down menu.
- Click CHOOSE FILE at the IMPORT FILE DATA: box and find the file you just saved from ScienceDirect.
- Select SCIENCEDIRECT filter at the IMPORT OPTION: box.
If you do not see this filter then click on OTHER FILTERS to see the complete list. - Click IMPORT.
