Importing ACS Records into EndNote

In ACS Journal

  1. Locate the desired citation in an ACS journal.
  2. Click in the box next to citation.
  3. Click Download Citations.
  4. Select RIS under Format.
  5. Select choice of what information to download (e.g., Citation and abstract) under Include
  6. Click Download Citation(s).
  7. Click Save and choose a location to save document.

In EndNote

  1. Open your EndNote library.
  2. Select File and Import and File.
  3. Choose the file.
  4. Select RefManager RIS as the Import Option.
  5. Click Import.
