Register
- Click on SEARCH TOOLS.
- Click on ALERTS.
- Click on NEW USER? CREATE A PERSONAL PROFILE.
- Enter your email address and create a password.
- Click on CONTINUE.
Log In
- Click on SEARCH TOOLS.
- Click on SEARCH ALERTS.
- Enter your email address and password and then click CONTINUE.
Perform Search
- Perform a search that you want as an alert.
- For detailed searching instructions (by keyword, author, or journal title) see QuickGuide.
RSS Feeds
- Click on ALERT ME.
- Select delivery method RSS.
Saved Searches
Save Search History (to rerun later)
- Click on SEARCH HISTORY.
- Click SAVE.
Use Saved Search History
- Go to SEARCH HISTORY.
- Click on SAVED SEARCHES.
- Enter your email address and password.
- Click RUN SEARCH.
Modify Saved Search History
- Click on SEARCH TOOLS.
- Click on History.
- Enter your email address and password and then click CONTINUE.
- Click RENEW, EDIT, or DELETE to modify your saved searches.
Email Alerts
- Click on SEARCH HISTORY.
- Choose a search that you have done and then click SAVE AS ALERT.
- Select the citation format, limits, and databases.
- Click on SAVE AS ALERT.
Modify Email Alerts
- Click on SEARCH TOOLS.
- Click on ALERTS.
- Enter your email address and password and then click CONTINUE to log-in to your account.
- Click RENEW, EDIT, or DELETE to modify your alert.
RefWorks and EndNote
CSA Illumina email alerts are not specifically formatted to import into RefWorks. For more information about how to get citations from a CSA Illumina database into RefWorks, see RefWorks or Endnote help.
