Giving to the Library
There is an oft-used saying...
“No one graduates from a library, but no one ever graduates without one.”
UW–Madison is a great public research university but the financial support from the state has diminished greatly over time. Your gift, whatever the size, makes a huge difference in assuring that the UW–Madison Libraries will be able to sustain its support of the University for generations to come.
Gifts-in-Kind
Gifts of materials that support the mission of the Libraries are greatly appreciated. Hundreds of titles new to the collections, and within the library's collecting scope, are added through gifts annually.
Books and materials can also be given to the Friends of the UW-Madison Library for their semiannual book sales. Proceeds help support the Friends and the Libraries.
